Ask a question:

Why am I only allowed one attempt on a quiz in my Music course?

Solution

Your instructor has set a limit on how many times you are allowed to attempt a quiz, so when you open a quiz without completing the questions and submitting it for a grade, it will count as your one and only attempt at the quiz. You will not be to re-open/re-take the quiz without instructor approval.

If you believe that computer/technical problems prevented you from completing your quiz attempt successfully, you should contact your instructor to explain your problem and ask them to approve your request to re-open/re-take the quiz. In cases where the instructor needs our technical assistance to allow this second attempt, he or she may ask you to submit a help desk ticket to provide us with needed information; your instructor will also want to submit a separate help request indicating that this change is approved.
