Ask a question:

Why am I seeing a Java conflict on my Windows computer?

Solution

When a new version of Java is downloaded to your Windows computer, the old version is not automatically removed. So different versions of Java can reside on your computer. The new Java will work beautifully for awhile and then all of a sudden will stop working. The computer is in conflict and doesn't know version to use. You should manually remove the old Java version from your computer to resolve the conflict.
