What should I do if Java is blocked within the Safari browser on my Windows computer?

Solution

Follow these instructions:

1.  Start Safari

2.  From the Menu bar go to "Edit."

3.  Go to the last item, which is "Preferences."

4.  Go to the "Security" tab.

5.  Make sure there is a checkmark in front of "Enable Java" and "Enable JavaScript."

6.  Click on the "Advanced" tab.

7.  At the bottom of that pane, make sure there is checknark in front of *Show Develop menu in menu bar."

8. Close the Preferences box.

9.  Go to "Edit" on Menu bar.

10. Select "Empty cache."   

11. When prompted by Safari "Are you sure you want to empty the cache?" click on "Empty." This will get rid of files so that you get new files loaded to your computer.

12.  Restart Safari and access your course.
